Aerospace runs on aluminum — but not every aerospace aluminum can be welded. UAV frames, gimbal mounts and antenna bases are mostly 6061/6063. Welded autogenously — with no filler — 6xxx alloys almost always hot crack: the weld solidifies through a crack-sensitive composition range. The standard practice:無人機機架、雲台支架、天線座多用 6061/6063。6xxx 系自熔焊(不加填料)幾乎必裂——凝固路徑經過熱裂敏感的成分區間。正確做法:
ER4043 (5% Si) — fluid pool, lowest crack sensitivity, clean bead appearance; suits thin sections and cosmetic parts. Note it turns grey after anodizing. ER5356 (5% Mg) — higher joint strength and a color match after anodizing; suits load-bearing structure. For thin sections (≤2 mm), pulsed MIG or TIG keeps heat input under control against burn-through and distortion.ER4043(鋁矽 5%):流動性好、裂敏最低、焊道美觀,適合薄件與外觀件;焊後陽極氧化會偏灰,外觀件要注意。ER5356(鋁鎂 5%):強度較高、陽極氧化色澤匹配,適合結構受力件。薄件(≤2 mm)建議脈衝 MIG 或 TIG,控制熱輸入避免燒穿與變形。
Ground support equipment, maintenance platforms and cargo handling structures are commonly 5083/5052 plate, and their welds carry load — so wire selection turns on as-welded strength. ER5356 is the general-purpose choice, with typical all-weld-metal tensile strength in the ~260 MPa class. ER5183 is the high-Mg, higher-strength option for thick 5083 sections where the weld must match the base metal. One caution: high-magnesium wires (5356/5183) are not suited to sustained service above 65 °C due to stress-corrosion risk — for fixtures near engines or other hot zones, specify ER5554 instead.地面支援設備、維修平台、貨艙裝載設備常用 5083/5052 板材,這類結構焊縫要承力,選線看焊態強度。ER5356 是通用選擇,焊態抗拉約 260 MPa 級;ER5183 高鎂高強,5083 厚板、要求焊縫與母材等強時用。注意:5xxx 高鎂線材(5356/5183)不適合長期 65 °C 以上工況(應力腐蝕風險),發動機周邊等高溫治具要留意,該工況改 ER5554。
